Some of our latest visitors

Lately Peggy has been a little behind on keeping up on my blog.  I sat by her chair today here in the office and scratched at her arm and said please update my blog and tell everyone about the car club that was here this weekend and then how about the Family from Canada that came for the Victorian Ball.

So this last weekend we had a group come in that all drove these really cool cars.  They were called Morgans.  Traveling from Oregon up to Canada where they attended the annual Morgan car club.  These cars are really neat, but i did notice there were no backseats which would be awful if you were a dog because you couldnt hang your head out like i can in the back of Peggys convertible.

I did my tricks for them all this morning but no one had any bacon left.  This was a problem, as I really like bacon.  Peggy bought these substitute low fat soft treats that are okay and I did the tricks for them, but really it was'nt anywhere near bacon.

I am going to put the picture of their cars up because they were really neat.  I wish i could have had a ride.

Oh and lets not forget about that lovely family with those two beautiful young girls that loved to sit and pet my belly.  Here to attend the Victorian ball by the historical society the very first year it has been held in Port Angeles.   They were 13 and 16 and loved me.  I bet they knew that they were coming to see me before hand because they knew my name when they got out of the car.   They came downstairs ready to go to the Victorian Ball and looked so awesome in their gowns and said they had the best time.

Notice that I am getting another Belly Rub

my weight

I want to talk about my weight - yes my weight - Peggy keeps telling the guests to not give me bacon or sausage because of my weight.  Now really living at a bed and breakfast demands you eat bacon. And if the guests give me some i will do all those tricks she taught me, which they love and then they laugh and pet me it is a win win. You must all help me and talk to her about this bacon thing okay?

Tomorrow I get my hair done and then i will look thinner.

Everyone around here is sprucing up the Inn for the summer season. I love the summer season you know all those wonderful people coming and going and petting my tummy.

Today it smelled so good - Peggy trying a new egg dish in the kitchen, although I did not get any I heard Layne say it was a keeper. I could have helped with that decision you know.

Well we will see if the haircut works, and if you would let Peggy know that a little bacon in exchange for some cool tricks is not a bad thing

My new friends

Bed and breakfast living is the best. Then add that to living in the Olympic Peninsula and you have the perfect place to be a dog.

This last week we had the best guests ever. My new friend here on the right was on his way to the Olympics. He was always ready for a belly rub though. I tried to convince him to stay a while but they had to go. He told me that he really liked it here and maybe next summer he would come back and his family could do some hiking in the National park.

They were from Oregon and they said that in order to get a place to stay they had to take the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria. Then when they attended the Olympic events, they had to take a ferry to Vancouver each day to the events that they had ticktets too. I think they said they were going to get to see curling, downhill ariel, and the short skate (wow).

I am loving the Olympics, Layne and Peggy have been watching it every night and they have'nt noticed me on the couch as much. And Layne has been for sitting a long time and petting me. How much better can it get.

A new year

I am back to trying to blog again - many of you know that I received a very bad hair cut - so I would not allow my picture to be put on the internet until it grew out.  Well I am beginning to look like my fluffy old self again and ready to get back to work.

Living on the Olympic Peninsula is so fun.  This morning we had three deer in our front yard.  Peggy kept trying to get me to chase them and get them off the property.   I said "Are you kidding me? Last time I tried to do that, the one with all the fuzzy horns came after me. Besides, it’s raining.  I’m going back in the house.”

Today we got in the car and drove out to Sequim. Peggy and Layne had to attend the Olympic Peninsula Bed and Breakfast Association monthly meeting.  I got to sit in the car and eat the leftover French fries that I found on the floor in the back.   After that I took a nap on the dashboard. It was so beautiful. We were at the most awesome bed and breakfast called Colettes. Wow, what gorgeous gardens and so private.

I love the winters here, especially this winter. It has been warm and wet and no snow (I don't like the snow.) Also I get to go to the Olympic National Park when it is like that.   Although I can't get out of the car, I can ride and hang my head out and enjoy the beauty.

Well I have to run outside for awhile.  I would love to hear back from some of you.  So make sure to post back to me, okay?

I will be posting some pictures soon too.

My new Blog

Since this is all new to me.  My first blog will be about the Crab Festival.  Last weekend in Port Angeles, the city was just full of people.  The buzz all around town and at the Inn was all about the Crab Festival.  So Peggy and Lauren called me to car, and off we went.

Wow, the street fair was great—I couldn’t get my nose to focus on anything!   I am going to post a few pictures so you can get the flavor of the local atmosphere.   They said that they sold more crab than any other year and that attendance was way up.   The vendors were great and you should have heard the music.

It was fun walking down by the water and having people stop and talk to me, and I met the cutest little girl. She was just my height.

Someday you will have to come and attend the Crab Festival. It is so fun.

Gotta go. I am hearing things about having to go get my hair done.  (I must hide.)
